Correction: The earlier simulated voltage outputs and universal grounding recommendations have been removed. They were not measurements of your equipment.
1. Choose the connection
Check that your computer and router support the intended Ethernet connection or compatible adapter. Test normal work tasks before changing wireless settings.
2. Check each radio separately
Connecting a cable does not prove that Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or a printer’s wireless function is disabled. Inspect device settings and documentation. Keep any connection you need for accessibility or essential functions.
3. Keep power equipment as designed
Use equipment as specified by its manufacturer. Do not modify outlet wiring, attach improvised body or canopy ground connections, or install a separate ground rod on the basis of an online lesson. Ask a qualified electrician about electrical installation questions.
A two-pin adapter is not, by itself, evidence of unsafe construction. Use the specified charger and seek service if equipment appears damaged or behaves abnormally.
4. Record the outcome
Record connection reliability and any repeatable measurements you actually make. Wired networking is a connection choice; it does not eliminate every electrical or magnetic field in an office.
Check your understanding
Does Ethernet make a workstation zero EMF?
Reveal the answer
No. Other radios may remain active, and powered equipment and external sources remain. Verify the specific change you intend.
