Describe the project

Write down the location, intended purpose, surfaces involved and practical constraints. A curtain, sleeping canopy and wall coating are different installations. Compare options that address the same project.

Request an installation specification

Ask what the quoted price includes: material, preparation, fittings, labour, verification and maintenance. Request written installation instructions and a statement of what the supplier’s test actually covers.

Avoid filling evidence gaps

Do not assume a sample report certifies a completed room. Ask how performance will be checked after installation and what limitations remain. Any grounding or electrical work should be handled by a qualified professional following applicable instructions.

Keep a project record

Save the proposal, product revision, documentation, installation details and any before-and-after measurements. Browse home shielding criteria and our shielding-claim checklist.
