STEP 1 OF 5: SHIELDING MATERIALS OVERVIEW

Professional Shielding Materials

Select a shielding material to review its physical composition, decibel (dB) attenuation ratings, and installation criteria:

Conductive Carbon / Graphene Shielding Paint (YSHIELD HSF54)

Liquid carbon silicate paint applied directly onto drywall or plaster before regular decorative paint. Highly effective against cell tower 5G, Wi-Fi, and smart meters.

Typical RF Attenuation
36 – 44 dB (1–2 coats)
Shielding Effectiveness
99.97% – 99.996%
Electrical Grounding
MANDATORY
Understanding Decibels (dB): Shielding attenuation is logarithmic. 20 dB = 99% RF power reduction; 30 dB = 99.9% reduction; 40 dB = 99.99% reduction. A small 3 dB improvement doubles your protection!

Interactive Room Enclosure Simulator

Configure the shielding layers below to see how exterior cell tower signals ($12,000\ \mu\text{W/m}^2$) and AC body voltage are affected inside:

The "Slot Antenna" Principle: High-frequency 5G mmWave signals can easily leak through tiny 5 mm gaps under doors or around window frames, degrading an entire 44 dB room down to only 20 dB. Unbroken perimeter sealing is vital.

The Fatal Mistake: Internal RF Echo Chamber

Why bringing wireless devices (smartphones, tablets, Wi-Fi routers) inside a shielded room creates dangerous microwave reflections:

Faraday Enclosure Wireless Reflection Test
Active transmitter trapped inside conductive reflective walls
🛌
Internal RF Field Density
< 0.1 µW/m² (Pure Sanctuary)
Smartphone Transmitter Power
0 mW (Hardwired / Airplane Mode)

✅ Optimal Sanctuary Protocol: With internal wireless disabled, the shielded room completely blocks exterior cell towers and neighborhood Wi-Fi, providing restorative, zero-RF sleep.

Golden Rule of Shielded Rooms: Never use Wi-Fi, cellular phones, or Bluetooth inside a room painted with conductive paint. All data connections must be hardwired with shielded Ethernet (Cat6A / Cat7) or kept in Airplane Mode!

Grounding & Electrical Safety Protocol

Conductive paint turns entire walls into metallic conductors. Follow this mandatory 4-step sequence to meet electrical safety standards:

1

Bridging Copper Tape

Apply self-adhesive conductive copper tape across all sheetrock joints, corners, and window framing to ensure unbroken electrical conductivity across all 4 walls and ceiling.

2

Wall Grounding Plate (EBX)

Screw a stainless steel ground plate directly through the conductive copper tape into a wall stud near an electrical outlet.

3

Earth Ground Verification

Connect the ground plate cable to the ground pin of a verified 3-prong outlet or dedicated outdoor copper ground rod. Test continuity with an ohmmeter (< 2 Ohms resistance).

4

Decorative Paint Topcoat

Apply 2 coats of your favorite high-quality latex or mineral wall paint directly over the black carbon primer to restore normal room aesthetics.

Knowledge Check: Shielding Paint & Enclosures

Test your understanding of room shielding physics, grounding, and operational rules:

1. What happens if you leave a carbon-painted room completely ungrounded?
2. Why is using a cellular smartphone inside a fully shielded room counter-productive?
3. How much RF power reduction is achieved by a professional 40 dB shielding installation?
