Blushield: claims and evidence

Learn how to separate a seller’s proposed mechanism from evidence of a product benefit.

Correction: Earlier text described scalar coherence, cellular protection and an adaptation period as established effects. The references presented did not establish those claims for this product. The biological-effect simulation has been removed.

1. What is being claimed?

Blushield marketing describes an active device and proposed biological effects using terms such as “scalar” and “coherence.” These are seller claims. This lesson does not treat a claimed mechanism, coverage radius or adaptation period as a demonstrated health benefit.

2. A meter reading answers a different question

An RF meter reports signals within its measurement capabilities. An unchanged reading does not prove a hidden protective effect. A changed reading also does not by itself establish a health benefit. Evaluate a shielding claim and a biological-benefit claim separately.

3. Check whether the evidence fits the product

Ask whether a study tests the exact product, with a suitable control, a relevant outcome, an adequate sample and transparent methods. Check funding, conflicts of interest, uncertainty and independent replication. A general discussion of biofields cannot validate a particular commercial device.

Testimonials, before-and-after images and short demonstrations cannot, on their own, establish that a device prevents harm. The previous references on this page did not establish the advertised protective benefits.

4. Questions to ask before buying
  • Which full study supports the exact benefit being advertised?
  • Was the tested product the same model being sold?
  • Were participants and assessors blinded, where feasible?
  • Has the result been independently replicated?
  • What are the limitations and return terms?

Do not treat a listing, an affiliate relationship or a proposed mechanism as certification.

Check your understanding

Does an unchanged RF meter reading demonstrate that a device neutralizes biological effects?

Reveal the answer

No. A health claim needs evidence addressing that health outcome for the specific product. A meter reading cannot demonstrate an unmeasured protective mechanism.
