What kind of EMF is this?
A 10-second way to find out whether you're dealing with a radiofrequency (RF) or extremely low frequency (ELF) question — and where to start.
RF and ELF, briefly
Radiofrequency (RF) covers wireless signals like Wi-Fi, mobile data and Bluetooth. Extremely low frequency (ELF) covers the electric and magnetic fields around household wiring, appliances and power lines. They are measured differently and respond differently to distance and shielding — mixing them up is one of the most common sources of confusion.
