YSHIELD's standard ready-to-use liquid shielding paint, made from water, natural graphite, carbon black and acrylics dispersion -- breathable, solvent-free and low-emission, with no graphene or other nanomaterials. Once grounded, it also shields low-frequency electric fields from household wiring, not just high-frequency radio signals. TUV-SUD monitors the manufacturer's production process, and attenuation is measured to ASTM D4935-10/IEEE Std 299-2006 across 600MHz-40GHz.
What to check
Attenuation figures (up to 90dB at 40GHz; see spec rows for the layer/yield breakdown) are manufacturer-published and TUV-SUD monitored, using recognised test standards -- stronger evidence than most shielding claims EMF Practical sees, but still not independently re-tested by EMF Practical itself. Low-frequency shielding only works once the painted surface is properly earthed -- the manufacturer recommends a qualified electrician handle the grounding connection.
