A specialist high-frequency analyzer for the upper end of the RF spectrum (2.4-10GHz), built to detect Bluetooth, WLAN, WiMAX and cordless-phone signals as well as the 8.5-9.5GHz radar band used by aviation, naval, military and traffic-control radar. It ships with a directional LogPer antenna, a built-in high-pass filter at 2.4GHz to suppress GSM/DECT interference, switchable AC/DC outputs for oscilloscope or data-logging use, and a rechargeable NiMH battery pack with charger and carrying case.
What to check
Accuracy/linearity deviation is manufacturer-specified at +/-4.5dB -- typical for this class of professional RF analyzer, not a defect, but worth knowing when comparing readings across meters. A separate preamplifier (HV20_2400 G10) is needed for the lowest-signal sensitivity range and is sold separately.
