Identify the test object
Ask whether the report identifies a fabric sample or the finished garment. Note the sample, frequency range, test method and conditions. Do not silently extend a result beyond what the report describes.
Compare practical details
Request material composition, sizing, coverage and care instructions. Ask whether any performance claims apply after washing and normal use. Record what the supplier documents and what is still unknown.
Separate claims
A product may make claims about material performance and claims about the wearer’s health. Evaluate these separately. Evidence for one claim does not automatically establish the other.
Prepare a comparison
Use the same fields for each garment: intended use, fit, material, report, care and returns. Our clothing category provides a starting checklist; it is not a set of independently tested recommendations.
